Outfall privacy policy
Effective October 22, 2026. Web address: https://getoutfall.com/privacy
Who we are
Outfall is an app for septic and grease trap pumping companies. It is made by Inferno45. Questions about this policy go to support@getoutfall.com.
What we collect
Your email address, so you can sign in with an emailed link. Your name and role in your company. Company details you enter, such as the company name and septage firm permit number. Records you enter about your work: customers, their names, phone numbers and service addresses, tanks, trucks, jobs, gallons pumped, disposal sites, manifests, training records and compliance rules. Photos you take on a job and customer signatures you capture.
Location and miles
Truck location and the mileage log are off unless your company owner turns them on. When on, and only after you agree on your own phone, Outfall reads your phone's precise location while you are on shift or on an active job, and while a notice is showing. With live tracking on, it shares your assigned truck's latest position, about once a minute while moving, with your company owners, and keeps that trail for 30 days before deleting it. With the mileage log on, it saves trip totals: date, start and end time, miles, miles per state, and the nearest customer or start and end point. Trip totals are kept with your company's records. Location is not collected when you are off shift, is not sold, and is not used for ads. You can stop sharing from your phone at any time in Settings, Location and mileage.
What we do not collect
Outfall does not use your location except as described above, and does not use your contacts or advertising ID. It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites. Outfall does not take payments in the app.
How we use it
Only to run the app for you and your company: signing you in, syncing your records between your company's phones, building manifests and reports, and sending sign-in and invite emails. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
People in your company can see your company's records, based on their role. Other companies cannot. Our service providers store and send data for us: Supabase hosts the database, sign-in and file storage, and an email provider sends sign-in and invite emails. Map pictures come from OpenFreeMap, which sees the map area being viewed and the phone's internet address, not who you are. When you share a manifest or report, it goes where you send it.
Where it is kept
Your records are stored on your phone so the app works without signal, and on our servers at Supabase. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Photos and signatures are kept in private storage that only your company can reach.
How long we keep it
We keep your company's records while your company uses Outfall. State and city rules may require your company to keep pumping records for several years, so export what you need before you ask us to delete anything. Signing out removes the copy on that phone.
Deleting your data
To delete your account or your company's data, email support@getoutfall.com from the address you sign in with. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Children
Outfall is a work app for adults. It is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it in the app and at https://getoutfall.com/privacy and change the date above.
This website
This section covers getoutfall.com. If you filled in our earlier early-access form, we kept what you typed: company name, your name, email, and if you chose, phone, number of trucks, state and a note. It is stored in our Supabase database. We use it only to contact you about Outfall. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.
Buying Outfall
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us, and we never see your full card number. Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe sends us what we need to run your account: your email, your company name and phone number, and your subscription's plan, status and renewal date. We store that in our Supabase database and use your email to create your Outfall login and send you a sign-in invite. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or ads. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site.
To have your early-access sign-up or account data deleted, email support@getoutfall.com from the address you signed up with. We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting law requires.
