Septic tank pumping software
Septic pumping software that doesn't stink.
Outfall runs the pump day for small septic companies: each truck's stops in order, gallons and tank condition at the tank, the customer's signature, the disposal site, and the manifest. It works in dead zones and syncs when you're back in range.
$19.99/mo. All in. Unlimited trucks. No Bull 💩 Unlimited users too, one price per company.

What a pump day looks like
Most septic tank pumping software is built for the office first and the truck second. Outfall starts in the cab. A driver opens the app and lands on Today: their truck's stops in driving order, the load in gallons, and how much room is left in the tank.
- Roll to the stop. Tap Navigate and your phone's maps app takes over the directions.
- Pump and log. Count gallons with big plus and minus buttons or a full tank shortcut, pick the tank condition, snap photos and run your checklist.
- Get the signature. The customer signs on the phone. Not home? Mark them not present.
- Pick the disposal site. Record where the load goes, and the manifest builds itself from the job.
If your compliance rules say a field is required, the job can't be completed until it's filled in. No more "I'll fill it in later" that turns into never.

Routes: simple on purpose
Each truck gets its own list of stops for the day, in the order you set. Drag a stop to reorder it when a customer calls or a road is closed. Drivers see their own truck's route when they open the app.
To be straight with you: Outfall does not auto-optimize routes. You know your county better than an algorithm does. You set the order, and the app keeps everyone on it.
Fleet tracking: loads, stops and gallons
The Fleet screen shows every truck at once: its load against tank capacity, how full it is, stops done today and gallons pumped. Tap a truck to see its last 7 days and today's stops in order. When the driver unloads at the plant, they record the dump and the tank goes back to empty.
Every job carries a truck and an optional driver, so you can see who pumped what and where it went. Want to see the trucks move? Turn on optional live GPS and every truck shows up on a fleet map with how full it is. Turn on the automatic mileage log and every mile is counted by truck, driver, day and state, as PDF or CSV. Both stay off until an owner turns them on, and drivers always see a notice while their truck is shared.
Built for dead zones
Septic tanks love the end of long gravel roads where phones go to die. Outfall saves everything on the phone first and syncs when it finds a signal. Drivers keep working, nothing gets lost, and the office sees it all once the truck is back in range.
Customers, sites and tanks that remember themselves
Keep customers, their sites and every tank on file, with trucks and team members alongside. A due soon list shows tanks coming up for service, based on the intervals in your rules, so nobody's tank sits forgotten until it backs up.
Changes to completed jobs and manifests are logged with who changed what and when. That's handy when an inspector, a customer or your own memory asks questions.
Compliance that comes along for the ride
Federal and all 50 state rule presets, plus city grease rules, or set your own. Pick your state, whether that's Texas, Florida, Ohio or North Carolina, and the preset sets the fields drivers must record, the retention period and the reports: your state pumping log, period summaries and the annual permit renewal summary. See septage rules for all 50 states. If your state or city rules look off, tell us in the app and we'll fix them or build custom rules for you.
Rules are researched from public sources, last verified October 22, 2026. Confirm yours with your state or local regulator. Outfall is not approved or endorsed by any agency.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- No invoicing or payments. Keep your books where you keep them now.
- No route optimization. You set the order.
- No filing with the state. You submit the reports the way your agency asks.
We'd rather lose a sale than sell you a feature that isn't there.
Price: per company, not per truck
Plenty of septic software charges by the truck or by the seat. Outfall is $19.99 a month per company. Every feature, unlimited trucks and unlimited users. The app is a free download for every driver, and billing happens on this website, never in the app. Or pay $199.90 a year and get two months free. Cancel anytime.
Septic software questions, pumped out.
Is Outfall only for septic tanks?
No. It's built for septic pumpers and grease trap pumpers. Manifests can record domestic septage, grease trap waste, holding tank waste and portable toilet waste. See grease trap service software for the grease side.
Can drivers see only their own route?
Drivers open the app to their own truck's stops for the day. Owners see every truck on the Fleet screen.
Does it work on Android and iPhone?
It's built for both. It's in final testing, and every customer gets the download link by email the day it's in the stores.
How much is it?
$19.99 a month per company, all in, for unlimited trucks and users. Or $199.90 a year, two months free. There's no free trial, and you can cancel anytime.
